DEVELOPMENT OF A DESIGN PROJECT FOR A WOMEN'S COSTUME IN ETHNIC STYLE

Abstract

This article examines the process of developing a design project for a women's costume in an ethnic style inspired by Uzbek national traditions. The study covers the historical aspects of the formation of Uzbek costume, its key elements and symbolism, as well as their influence on contemporary fashion. The work examines Uzbek national costumes, their interpretation in contemporary fashion, and innovative approaches to design. It considers materials characteristic of Uzbek costume, such as satin, adras, and shoyi, their texture, color palette, and production technology. It analyzes traditional ornaments and embroidery, their semantics, and ways of integrating them into contemporary models. It explores innovative approaches to cutting, decoration, and fabric combinations that allow for the creation of stylish women's looks that combine ethnic authenticity and contemporary design. An important part of the research is the study of consumer preferences and global trends in ethnic fashion, which contributes to the development of sought-after collections. The results of the research demonstrate that the synthesis of national heritage and innovative design methods opens up new opportunities for creating unique products with high aesthetic and functional value.
